Ep. 168 Charles Haycock – Painting A Perfectly False Image
Comedian, Charles Haycock, joins Aaron and Nick this week on the Quik & Slow Comedy Show. Charles, who is a young upstart with the tenacity and discipline of seven Barack Obamas, is scared to death of one Nick McQuiks. Sit tight on this episode as it takes some gentle prompting from the hosts before Haycock comes alive, er, less not-dead, maybe? Once his modesty fades, however, he outlines the process of writing and testing jokes and how a lady once bought him a latte for not smiling enough.
As a child, Charles and his family immigrated from South Africa to Canada in order to find better opportunities. Weeks later, he found that opportunity in stand up comedy. At just 20-years-old, Haycock has developed a beautiful command over his comedic voice. His strong writing ability and unique sense of delivery makes him a favorite among audiences and comics alike.
In this episode, Charles dishes and gabs about, well, nothing really. His claptrap is tighter than a honey eating clam. Leave it to Clare to be the first to bring up blow jobs while Aaron tries his best at a South African accent. The trick is not to try. Thanks for listening and enjoy!
