Ep. 236 Blackout – At The Fringe
Every once in a while, the Quik & Slow Comedy Show opens the basement doors to real talent. This week is just like that. Sitting in with the dashingly dark Nick McQuik and his cantankerous panel of halfwits (Simon “Cleft Palate” Gorsak and “James” Drunk On Rumplemintz “Ross”) is Derrick Johnson and Byron Martin; writers, directors and performers of Fringe Fest’s hit sketch-comedy show, Blackout. They are in studio not only to promote their show’s air conditioned theater, but also to talk about improv as a sport, comedy as a thing and Google Drive…the most collaborative tool since legalized marriage. All marriage. Take the chance and go to the show. It has scored huge success and is, by all accounts, hilarious. Links below. Also, enjoy the podcast.
